Measurement instructions

At Garagerek.nl, we manufacture storage systems for your camper garages or bus camper garages. Both have different dimensions. Select your vehicle for the appropriate measurement instructions.

All dimensions are the full external dimensions.

The dimensions in our webshop are always the full external dimensions of the systems. Therefore, you do not need to add any extra space to the stated dimensions.

Compare the external dimensions of the systems with the available space in the garage of your camper or motorhome.

Please note: also check whether the systems fit through the clear height and width of the doorway. Take into account any obstacles around the opening.

Measurement instructions for wall systems

With this system, the uprights of the wall system are custom-made for you so that they can be clamped between the floor and ceiling.

1. Measure the distance between the floor and ceiling of your garage where the uprights need to be installed.

2. It is possible to order the rear uprights of the system at a different height so that they can stand on a raised platform, for example. See also various installation types below.

Note: Thanks to the adjustable feet, it is possible to bridge a distance of approximately 2 cm.

Measuring instructions for pull-out drawer systems (no drilling)

With this system, the uprights of the pull-out drawer system are custom-made for you so that they can be clamped between the floor and ceiling.

1. Measure the distance between the floor and ceiling of your garage 6 cm from your garage door.

2. Measure the distance between the floor and ceiling of your garage at a distance of 95 cm or 125 cm from your garage door, depending on the system you choose.

3. Measure your garage door opening. This is the effective space that can be used to slide the drawers out. Take into account any angled corners or protruding parts.

4. You are advised to use an anti-roll system if the system cannot be mounted on the side or on a rail. To do this, measure the distance from the front wall to the back wall of your garage.

Note: Thanks to the adjustable feet, it is possible to bridge a distance of approximately 2 cm.

Measuring instructions for pull-out drawer systems

1. Measure the distance between the inside of the closed doors and the back of the garage. Do not just measure the space on the floor. There is often plenty of space over the edge of the floor towards the door when it is in the closed position.

2. Measure the clear width at the location where the system is to be installed.

3. Measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the bed rail. Keep in mind that you want approximately 5 millimeters of space between the top trays and your bed rail.
